About Our Practice
Kate Monahan graduated from Gonzaga University with a B.A. in communications. She received a B.S. in nursing from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. She then went on to earn a Masters of Science in nursing from Rush University in Chicago, IL. She specializes as an adult nurse practitioner.
Kate worked at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago as an emergency department nurse for three years and as a nurse practitioner for a year. She joined Cardiology Consultants Medical Group in October 2002.
At Cardiology Consultants Medical Group, she manages the anti-coagulation (coumadin) and lipid clinics. She is also responsible for monitoring cardiolyte and adenosine stress testing.
Kate holds national certification as an adult nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also certified in advanced cardiac life support.
